We have been invited to join our fellow Alfa owners in AROC-CT for the following event:
When: Sunday, March 21st, 12 noon
Where: Red Line Restorations, 2316 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport (aka Black Rock), CT 06605
What: Luncheon and tour of their facility
We are very excited that Red Line Restorations has invited the Alfa Romeo Owners Club to a Sunday lunch and
tour at their facility! Red Line is a very special restoration shop that focuses on prewar and postwar European cars. They have between 20 and 30 cars under restoration and nearly an equal number on display in their showroom. This is a very special opportunity for our club to see some fabulous cars in all stages of restoration. When I was there recently, they had an 8C 2900 Spider, nearly complete; a 6C 2500 competition coupe just out of the paint shop that had been raced by Fangio; and a Ferrari GTO that had been re-bodied and was just beginning to undergo restoration, as well as several more Ferraris, Maseratis, and many other exotic cars.
Colton Amster, the owner, has been kind enough not only to invite his to his shop but also will provide lunch. This requires that you RSVP to me at if you plan to attend. The shop is located very close to I-95, exit 25 (see map and above address). Parking will be available behind the shop and on the street. The shop is in a former Studebaker Packard dealership in Bridgeport. They keep a very low profile, so don’t expect to see a large sign with their name – it is a red brick building with the windows covered in green plywood. There is a small sign on the door which is the only identification of the location. Although it is not showy on the outside, you will be very impressed with the inside. I’ve attached a few photos from my recent visit to the shop. I’m sure after you see them, you will share my enthusiasm.
Please RSVP to david.b.yager@sbcglobal.net by Tuesday, March 16th with the following information:
- Your name(s)
- Number in your party
- Phone # (in case of any last minute changes)
